About weSTEM

We are excited to announce the fourth annual weSTEM conference – scheduled for Saturday, February 6th, 2016 at the Illini Union in Champaign, IL.

Initiated in 2013 by the Graduate Society of Women Engineers (GradSWE) at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, weSTEM (Women Empowered in STEM) is a one-day conference that provides a forum for STEM leaders to inspire one another to excel at the scientific frontier, developing solutions for the next generation of global challenges. Engineers and scientists share academic, professional, and personal experiences, providing insight into their paths to success in STEM fields.

The 2015 program will feature:

  • Keynote addresses
  • Dual-track talks
  • Breakout sessions
  • Panel discussion
  • Social hour
  • Corporate networking

Please refer to the weSTEM 2013 and 2014 pages to review past weSTEM program details. The weSTEM 2015 program schedule is currently under development and will be updated regularly – so be sure to check back for current information.
